New Changes for the Greek Golden Visa
Rainfall weather warning and extended shop hours for Easter 🐣
Dear fellow expats,
In this week’s newsletter, we’re bringing you weekly updates as well as important changes in the Greek laws concerning the Golden Visa program.
⭐️An important change for the Golden Visa
Since the 5th of April this year, the new minimum living requirement to qualify for the Golden Visa must be at least 120 sqm. and make a property investment equal to €800,000. This applies to the following regions: Attica, Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, the South Aegean and islands with over 3.100 residents.

🐣Stores will have extended opening hours for the period of Greek Orthodox Easter. The special opening hours start on April 25.
The Athens Trade Association announced the extended opening hours of Athens’ commercial shops:
- Thursday, April 25 to Holy Thursday, May 2, from 09:00 to 21:00
- Sunday, April 28 from 11:00 until 16:00
- Good Friday, May 3, from 13:00 until 19:00
- Holy Saturday, May 4, from 09:00 to 15:00
