Did you know? On Tinos island, families own and lovingly care for 1,000 chapels

Around 1,000 chapels, many owned by families rather than the state, are scattered across the island. These chapels are maintained with dedication and are used as gathering points during feast days. At least once a year, the families gather to clean them, freshly paint the walls and waterproof the roofs. Read more here.
