🥵Temperatures Soar to 42°C, Viral Open-Air Cinema in Kimolos and New Real Estate Survey

Did you know? Open-Air Cinema in Kimolos Goes Viral
The island of Kimolos is gaining global attention for its one-of-a-kind open-air cinema, “Cine Kalisperitis.” Unlike regular theaters, this mobile summer cinema hosts movie nights in stunning natural spots. Recent videos of its seaside location have gone viral online.
As shown in a TikTok video below, the cinema uses a natural “amphitheater” created by Kimolos' unique white rock formations. The screen is set up with the calm Aegean Sea in the background, and viewers sit on smooth rocks and temporary platforms to enjoy the film.

Hey expats 👋
This week I am vacationing on the beautiful island of Donousa. It’s a tiny island with 213 inhabitants, approximately one hour away by boat from Naxos. With only a handful of restaurants available, the beaches feel serene and are far from being noisy. This time of year, it isn’t crowded, unlike the summer months of July and August. Everything is walking distance away, and the locals know me because I return each year. Everyone here is super warm and friendly, and it’s also a good occasion to practice my Greek!
